The Biomagnetic Pair Therapy is a natural therapy developed in 1988 by the Mexican doctor Isaac Goiz Durán. This technique uses medium-intensity magnets with the goal of helping the body restore its balance and well-being.
During a session, the person lies fully clothed on a treatment table while the therapist performs a scan using a muscle response technique based on applied kinesiology developed by Dr. Goodheart. When the body shows signs of imbalance, magnets are placed on specific points, forming what is known as biomagnetic pairs.
The main principle of the technique is that many diseases arise when the body's pH balance is disrupted. When this happens, pathogens such as viruses, bacteria, fungi, and parasites can develop and proliferate more easily, as they find an acidic or alkaline environment that favors them. These pathogens, in turn, alter the ion exchange process, which is key to maintaining pH balance and cellular electric charge. An imbalanced pH can affect important functions such as enzyme activity, circulation, intercellular communication, proper immune system function, among others.
By applying magnets with opposite charges in biomagnetic pairs, it is possible to help neutralize imbalances caused by excess electric charges that lead to pH distortions, creating an unfavorable environment for microorganisms that may be causing discomfort or illness.
Dr. Goiz also described that, in most diseases, microbes form alliances that enhance and strengthen them. The powerful magnetic fields of the magnets produce an interference in these alliances. Both effects support the immune system and the body's self-regulation processes.
The goal is to help the body establish the appropriate conditions to restore physical and energetic health, relieving physical symptoms, regulating stress, reducing inflammation, supporting the balance of endocrine and hormonal function, detoxifying the body, and increasing vitality.
It is a gentle and safe technique suitable for people of all ages and works well in conjunction with medical treatments and other complementary therapies.
It is contraindicated for pregnant women, people with impaired consciousness or vital signs, those with pacemakers, and individuals currently undergoing or who have recently undergone chemotherapy or radiotherapy.
